Extinction Rebellion Climate Change Activists Stage Protests Around the World

Protesters from the group Extinction Rebellion have engaged in a series of actions around the world. The group wants to raise awareness of the threat of climate change and seeks net-zero carbon emissions by the year 2025. Tessie Humble, an Extinction Rebellion spokesperson, said, “We are at a point now where the U.N. leaders are saying we need radical action by next year or we are going to hit runaway climate change."
