FDNY Lieutenant Stabbed to Death Responding to Call

Members of the New York City Fire Department pause to honor one of their own, killed while working in Queens. Officials say Lieutenant Alison Russo-Elling, 61, was an Emergency Medical Service worker who was responding to a call of a knife assault. Investigators say she was stabbed multiple times by a suspect who fled the scene. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, but died of her injuries. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
