New Yorkers celebrated the end of COVID-19 restrictions with a spectacular fireworks display that lit up Lady Liberty. A huge crowd of maskless revelers gathered to watch the show. California also lifted its restrictions. Late-night comics joined in the revelry: James Corden and Ariana Grande opened his show with an end-of-lockdown singalong, and Stephen Colbert celebrated with a rousing jam from Jon Batiste and Stay Human.
