Former 'America’s Got Talent' Star Skilyr Hicks Dead at 23

Skilyr Hicks was just 14 years old when she competed on “America’s Got Talent,” performing an original song on her guitar, dedicated to her father who died years before. Nine years later, tributes are now being dedicated to Skilyr herself, after she passed away on December 6th. On Facebook, her sister, Breelyn wrote in part, “Skilyr, I don’t know how I’ll be able to live without you. You were a light that shown brighter than ever.” Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer reports.
