Golden Retriever Protects Owner From Rattlesnake in Arizona

Paula Godwin is praising her golden retriever after he protected her from a dangerous rattlesnake. Godwin says the snake caught them by surprise while they were on an early morning hike in the desert outside Phoenix. Her dog, Todd, stepped in between Paula and the rattler. “The snake got his nose and then he started to rattle, I jolted back and noticed it was a rattlesnake,” Godwin told Inside Edition.
