Lost Letter Gets Delivered to Family Member 80 Years Later

A lost letter was finally given to a family member after 80 years. The letter turned up out of nowhere at the local post office in DeKalb, Illinois. It was mailed from Amboy, Illinois, but the letter was lost for decades. It was mailed way back in 1943 to an Illinois couple, Lavena and Louie George. Driven by curiosity, a postal worker went online and found an obituary for Lavena from 2012. The worker tracked down the family by using social media.
