More Tributes to Diana Than Queen Elizabeth at Kensington Palace

Staff wore black armbands outside Kensington Palace today. All historic royal palaces were closed out of respect for the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. One week ago, the gates near Kensington Palace were filled with floral tributes on the 25th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death. The queen did not get the same response. Though there were some flowers and notes, Her Majesty never lived at Kensington Palace and the majority of her tributes have been at Buckingham Palace.
