Community Rallies Behind Student Banned From Prom for Wearing Suit
Marcie Allen, Derek Van Mol and several others in their Nashville, Tennessee, community have stepped up to help an 18-year-old high school senior. B. Hayes tried going to their Nashville Christian School prom in April and was turned away because they wore a suit, not a dress. So Marcie and Derek are throwing B their own prom. It’s a task that has been hard to pull off, but it’s worth it, so B feels included, they said. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.
