Husband Sues Safari Tour Operator After Hippo Killed Wife

An American whose wife was killed by a hippo on an African safari is suing the tour operator. Lisa and Craig Manders were on a "bush walk" in Zambia with their tour guide when tragedy struck. According to the lawsuit, the hippopotamus violently attacked Lisa Manders. In a statement, the tour company says the couple was accompanied by an experienced professional guide and that all safety measures had been implemented both before and during the attack.
