New York City Marathon Racers Help Fallen Runner Across Finish Line

It’s the video from the New York City Marathon that’s inspiring people around the world. An exhausted runner is helped to the finish line by two total strangers, who gave up focus on their own times to help him. Jamel Melville, the stricken runner, was running his first New York City Marathon, but his legs gave out with the finish line in sight. Andrew Sboner and Craig Astriecher saw Jamel go down, and helped get him on his feet. Each supported one of his arms as they finished together.
