New York Philharmonic Performs Music by Woman Who Started Composing in Lockdown

It’s soothing music that the composer hopes will bring comfort in these troubled times. The woman behind the music, Karen LeFrak, has been a teacher, author, philanthropist, mother and grandmother, but it wasn’t until the pandemic hit that she began to compose music, which she says she found healing. Now, her music has been performed around the world. Legendary musician David Foster even introduced an online performance of her work by the New York Philharmonic orchestra.
