New Yorkers Scolded for Fleeing to Second Homes During Coronavirus Outbreak

New York City is the epicenter of the coronavirus in the U.S., and thousands of New Yorkers have left town. But they’re not exactly being warmly welcomed where they’ve headed. On Long Island, where some New Yorkers keep second homes in the Hamptons, locals are very concerned. They worry that New Yorkers will deplete resources like grocery stores and hospitals, and possibly infect the otherwise healthy communities.
