When COVID-19 initially seeped into New York City, nurse Amy O’Sullivan treated the first person in the five boroughs to contract the disease. Then, she contracted COVID-19 herself and nearly died from the virus. “It's been a struggle,” O’Sullivan told WCBS. And now she's being recognized for her bravery. O'Sullivan, who has previously been featured on the cover of Time magazine, and is now being honored with her own Barbie doll. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer explains.
