Army Medic Awarded Medal of Honor for Saving Dozens of Lives During Vietnam War

Almost 50 years after his heroic actions on the battlefield in Vietnam, a Special Forces combat medic was awarded the military's highest honor. Retired Army Captain Gary "Mike" Rose received the Medal of Honor at the White House. He's credited with treating 60 wounded personnel during a secret mission in Laos during the Vietnam War, providing constant treatment to the injured during four days under fire.
