Shoppers Headed to Malls Increase Their Chances of Being Exposed to COVID-19

Health experts say we are just starting to feel the effects of Thanksgiving gatherings, and warn that Christmas could be 10 times worse. They are worried people will flock to shopping malls to do their holiday shopping, which could lead to a COVID-19 super surge. Dr. Ashish Jha, Dean at Brown University School of Public Health, says “We're in the middle of the worst surge of the whole pandemic and this is not the time to be mixing with large numbers of people."
