How Maui Wildfires Impacted Hawaii’s Tourism
America watched in horror as the Maui wildfires consumed Lahaina. Now, Maui is facing another potential disaster, which is tourism collapsing in the wake of the wildfire. Following the wildfire, tourists were told to stay away. Now, tourists are no longer being discouraged. The island's economy depends on tourism and all of Hawaii has been losing $9 million a day in tourist revenue since the wildfire. Inside Edition's Jim Moret spoke with Hawaii Governor Josh Green.
