Stranded Driver Uses Drone to Ask for Rescue

A stranded driver typed a text message to a family member telling him exactly where he was and hit "send," but he did not have a cellphone signal. He then attached his phone to a drone and sent it into the air. Authorities say when the drone flew several hundred feet up, the phone was able to find a signal and sent out the urgent message. Thanks to that text, rescuers found the stranded driver on a remote road in Oregon's Willamette National Forest.
