Teen Wears Dad’s Fireman Jacket to Graduation in His Memory

It was a poignant moment as a teenager graduated high school wearing her late father’s  firefighter jacket. A tearful Joslyn Carlon took to the stage to thunderous cheers when her name was read out loud at the commencement ceremony. Hundreds of Los Angeles firefighters lined up to show their support. Earlier in the week, her father, Tory Carlon, was killed by a colleague in a workplace dispute. Carlon was a 20-year veteran of the fire department.
