Texas Parents Say School Went Too Far Restraining Son in Seclusion Room

Across the country, an estimated 2,300 students are restrained and put into seclusion rooms every school day for misbehavior, according to data from the Department of Education. It’s a legal but controversial method for dealing with special-needs students in crisis. Although It’s only meant to be used in extreme situations when a child is putting themselves or others in danger, some parents say some schools are going too far.
