Trooper Uses Patrol Car to Stop Wrong-Way Vehicle on North Carolina Highway

A highway patrolman used his vehicle to stop a wrong-way driver. Trooper Cody Thao with the North Carolina Highway Patrol was assisting the local sheriff’s office in pursuing a vehicle on a highway. Thao was there when authorities say the driver began traveling the wrong way on an exit ramp. Thao used his patrol car to drive into the car’s path, preventing him from getting on the interstate.
