Washington State Parents Lose Daughter to a Rare Childhood Cancer
Michelle and Cory Green from Washington state share how their daughter lost her battle with one of the rarest childhood cancers. In 2021, Alivia was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma. In the U.S., around 300 children are diagnosed with DIPG each year, according to the National Cancer Institute. Now Alivia's family wants to help find a cure for the disease. "We don't want any more kids going through this," Michelle told Inside Edition Digital's Andrea Swindall.
