Wife of Olympian Bode Miller Warns About Drowning Dangers After Daughter Dies
The grieving wife of Olympic gold medal skier Bode Miller is speaking out about the drowning of their 19-month-old daughter, Emmy, in a neighbor's pool to spread awareness about the fact that such a tragedy can happen in an instant. “It's been 37 days since I've held my baby girl,” Miller wrote in an Instagram post. “I pray to God no other parent feels this pain. Drowning is the number one cause of death in children ages 1 to 4.” She went on to call death by drowning a silent killer.
