Wisconsin High School Cancels 'To Kill a Mockingbird' Play Over N-Word Use

The Shorewood School District has pulled the plug on the High School production of "To Kill a Mockingbird" due to concerns about potential protests. Disappointed drama students traded in opening night jitters for tears as the show was canceled mere hours before opening night. The decision came down as it was learned that a racial slur was in the script.
