Woman Assaulted 14-Year-Old While Falsely Accusing Him of Phone Theft

Newly released surveillance video of the woman who falsely accused a Black teenager of stealing her iPhone shows her chasing the teen in a hotel lobby, before grabbing and swinging him to the floor. The video was released by the NYPD, along with a statement that declared the teen “innocent” and accused the woman of “physically attacking him.” The incident was also filmed by the boy’s father, Grammy-winning jazz trumpeter Keyon Harrold. The woman had actually left her phone in an Uber.
