Meghan Markle Shops for Chips in Newly Resurfaced TV Ad From 2009

The future royal was 27 at the time, before she got her big break on the USA series, "Suits."

Nine years before she was ready to say "I do" to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle was the star of a snack commercial.

Markle appeared in a TV spot for Tostitos corn chips in 2009. The 32-second commercial has resurfaced just over a month before her wedding to the prince at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle in England.

The future royal pouts in the ad as she looks for a healthy choice of a snack in the grocery store.

As she goes through the store to see her options, her internal monologue gives her advice on why not to pick certain products because they have too many ingredients.

After contemplating her options, she settles on Tostitos because it just has 3 ingredients — white corn, vegetable oil, and salt.

She was 27 when she shot the ad. Two years after it aired, she got her big break as the TV series Suits premiered on USA.

Markle, who has also appeared on Deal or No Deal, also has an acting resume that also includes stints on General Hospital, Fringe, and 90210
