Michael John Wolfe was charged with two counts of aggravated murder and two counts of kidnapping.

A father in Oregon has reportedly been arrested and charged in the disappearance of his 3-year-old son and the boy's mother, who haven't been seen for about two weeks.

Karissa Alyn Fretwell, 25, and her son Billy Fretwell were reported missing on May 17 after family hadn't heard from or seen them in days, police said.

On Thursday, police named 52-year-old Michael John Wolfe as a person of interest in the case. County documents listed Wolfe as the father of Billy, ABC News reported.

The Yamhill County Sheriff's Office said Karissa has sole custody of Billy.

Wolfe was reportedly arrested at a doughnut shop on Friday.

He is being held without bail at the Yamhill County Jail. He was charged with two counts of aggravated murder and two counts of kidnapping.

However, police are not saying Wolfe's murder charges indicate officers believe the mother and son are dead.

"We believe we have probable cause to charge for aggravated murder, but any evidence that comes forward as we continue this investigation could change those charges," Lt. Treven Upkes said at a press conference.

Karissa is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds. She has blue eyes and naturally blond hair that she dyes red.

Billy is about 3 feet tall and weighs about 90 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes.
