Police Called to Remove Penguins Huddled in Sushi Shop
Cops were called to deal with the stubborn birds.
Two penguins walked into a sushi shop and refused to leave.
No, it's not a joke, but a real story out of Wellington, New Zealand, according to APTN.
Cops were called to deal with the stubborn birds after they were first spotted wandering around the city. They were caught and taken back to the sea.
But they soon came back, wandering into a sushi shop near a train station.
“It’s pretty insane the idea that some penguins are camping out under your shop,” Wini Morris, who's employed by the shop, told Radio NZ. “But it’s adorable, I think — they’re probably terrified, but it’s adorable.”
Eventually the wayward diners were captured and escorted from the premises.
