"It was a beautiful moment in my life," the groom told Inside Edition.
President Trump made a special appearance at a MAGA-themed wedding at his Bedminster golf club in New Jersey.
PJ and Nicole Mongelli had long been fans of the president from his "Apprentice" days and sent Trump an invite to their wedding, but they didn't think he was going to attend.
"Did we really think he's going to show up?" Nicole told Inside Edition. "He's the president."
But Trump didn't disappoint, joining in at the reception and even speaking to the couple personally, complimenting the groom on his broad shoulders and calling the bride stunning. They posed for pictures together, with the couple beaming by the president's side.
"It was a beautiful moment in my life," PJ said.
"Anything he needs, we would do," added Nicole.
