Thieves Caught on Camera Stealing Right-Foot Shoes in Virginia
The right shoes are put on display at the store, while their cohorts are kept in the back.
These thieves are getting off on the right foot — literally.
Surveillance footage recently caught burglars making off with mostly right shoes over the course of two break-ins at Clean Soles, a Roanoke, Virginia-based shoe store.
According to Rob Wickham, the operator of Clean Soles, the robberies occurred on July 20, which involved two suspects, and Aug. 25, with just one, The Associated Press reported.
The right shoes are put on display at the store, while their matches are kept in the back, Wickham said.
Thirteen right shoes were taken between the two break-ins.
A 17-year-old has been charged in the July incident, but police are still looking for the person seen in the August footage.
