Thousands of Animals Are Stepping Up to the Scales at London Zoo
Some 19,000 critters are being weighed and measured so keepers can check on their health and progress.

Frogs, penguins, pythons and more animals at the London Zoo are stepping up to the scales for their annual weigh-in.
Some 19,000 critters are being weighed and measured so keepers can check on their health and progress.
“We do an annual weigh in just to check and update our records for all animals at the zoo,” said Teague Stubbington, the assistant curator of mammals at Zoological Society of London.
And some of the animals got a tasty treat after hopping on the scale. Check out the video above to see what they got for their participation.
