Who Spit on Eric Trump at a Chicago Cocktail Bar?

The son of the president of the U.S. said he's not pressing charges against an unidentified woman.

Eric Trump was reportedly spit on at a swanky cocktail lounge in Chicago, but he said he doesn't plan to press charges.

A female employee at The Aviary was reportedly detained by the Secret Service following the incident. Chicago Police tweeted that it "was on scene and assisting the United States Secret Service with a law enforcement matter."

Eric, who was in town visiting the Trump International Hotel, reacted to the alleged incident, saying, "It was purely a disgusting act by somebody who clearly has emotional problems,” according to Breitbart News.

Eric is not pressing charges and an unidentified woman was released.

The restaurant  put the waitress on leave and called it an "an unfortunate incident," they added, "no customer should ever be spit upon."

The so-called Spitgate comes as the battle between President Trump and U.S. women's soccer captain Megan Rapinoe is heating up.

The star athlete, who has been outspoken against Trump, said she will not go to the White House if they win the World Cup.

"I’m not going to the f***ing White House. No. I'm not going to the White House. We're not gonna be invited,” she told Eight by Eight.

The president slammed the player Wednesday afternoon in a series of tweets.

"Megan should win first before she talks! Finish the job!" he tweeted. "I am now inviting the team, win or lose. Megan should never disrespect our country, the White House, or our flag, especially since so much has been done for her & the team."

Team USA plays France Friday in the knockout stages of the World Cup in France. Team USA is the most successful country to ever play in the tournament, winning three titles in the 28-year history of the cup, most recently in 2015.
