Woman Gives Birth to Niece After Being Surrogate for Brother and His Partner

Baby Harper was born last week.
This sister gave her brother the ultimate gift.
Chapelle Cooper of Cumbria, England, gave birth to a healthy baby girl after acting as the surrogate for her brother's partner.
Baby Harper was born last week just under 6 pounds.
“Delivered by our incredible super human sister in under an hour with absolutely no pain relief,” Harper’s dad Michael Smith wrote on Facebook. “We are blown away by the strength, heart and courage of Chapelle and will never be able to truly thank her for bringing us our perfect little bundle. We love you more than you know!”
Scott Stephenson, Chapelle’s brother, said he and Smith began considering expanding their family but weren't sure whether they should use a surrogate. They didn't know if they would be able to find someone reliable, according to Yahoo Style UK.
But when Chapelle offered her eggs, the couple was sold on growing their family.
Chapelle said getting to be the little girl’s aunt made the decision a no-brainer.
“We are all now enjoying lots of cuddles and time together and hopefully little Harper will get to meet all of her loving family and friends soon,” Smith said.
