Arkansas Woman Who Lost Home Wins $150,000 Lottery Prize

LeAndra Clay lost her home in February in a fire and has been living in a shed without electricity ever since.
Good things come to those who wait, especially when it comes in the form of $150,000 lottery winnings for an Arkansas woman who lost her home in a fire just weeks ago.
LeAndra Clay of Little Rock lost her home in a fire last February.
“I don’t have much family left and kept telling my friends that I have the faith of a mustard seed,” Clay said, according to a statement from My Arkansas Lottery.
She purchased a ticket for the March 23 Powerball drawing with the Power Play addition but wasn’t able to check the numbers right away since she had been staying in a shed without electricity.
When she finally got the chance to check her results, she discovered a $50,000 win multiplied by three due to the Power Play.
“He’s an on-time God,” she said. “I knew God would bless me soon.”
She said the money will now go toward buying a house and a car.
