Boyfriend Enlists Help of Florida Cops to Propose During Traffic Stop
“Oh my god," the woman said, clearly at a loss for words.
Marriage license and registration, ma'am.
A Miami woman pulled over by Miami Beach cops was shocked to learn the traffic stop was a ploy for her boyfriend to pop the question.
She and her boyfriend, Kenneth, both stepped out of the car as they were stopped by the officers, but amid the sirens and flashing lights, Kenneth dropped down to one knee, and pulled out a ring.
“Oh my god, you’re crazy," she said. "In this situation I don’t even know what to say,” she could be heard saying in the video the police department posted to Twitter.
The traffic stop was orchestrated by Sgt. Jeff Motola and Officer Christina O’Neil, who were happy to step in when Kenneth approached the police department, asking them for help planning his proposal.
“Is there anything you want to say?” Motola could be heard asking in the video, before Kenneth presented the ring.
After a little confusion, his girlfriend finally said yes.
