Britney Spears has reportedly checked into an "all-encompassing wellness facility" to focus on her mental health.
She posted an inspiring message on Instagram with the caption: “We all need to take time for a little ‘me time.’”
Her sister, Jamie Lynn, shared a throwback photo her big sister getting off the school bus with Jamie Lynn after her first day of school, writing, "She's the best.”
The “Baby One More Time” singer’s boyfriend, model Sam Asghari, also expressed his support: "It isn't weakness, it's a sign of absolute strength, people should only be inspired by this."
Britney’s struggle with mental health is well known. In 2007, she had a meltdown and shaved her own head before attacking paparazzi photographers with an umbrella. She later checked herself into a mental health facility
Spears’ ex-husband, Kevin Federline, the father of her sons, is also standing by her. His lawyer said in a comment to Inside Edition: "Kevin commends Britney for recognizing that she needs to take a step back and that she is taking the reasonable steps to deal with her situation in a responsible way."
It is reported the pop star sought help amid her father's health battles.
