Casey Anthony's Father Airlifted to Hospital After Serious Car Crash
According to a police report, he experienced a medical issue that caused him to veer off the road.
Casey Anthony's father was airlifted to a local hospital after a serious car crash in Daytona Beach, Florida, on Saturday afternoon.
Police said 67-year-old George Anthony lost control of his 1999 Toyota due to a medical issue, but did not elaborate. The car veered off the road and flipped several times before coming to a stop.
He was alone in the car at the time of the incident, according to a police report.
George and Casey have been estranged since she was acquitted in 2011 of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, three years before, despite not reporting the girl missing for weeks.
George spoke to Dr. Mehmet Oz about the possibility of his daughter having more children in an interview that aired last month on "The Dr. Oz Show."
“Knowing now that she could potentially be a mom again, I hope she does better this time around than what she did last time,” George said.
