Cat Rescued After Going for a Ride in Vehicle's Engine Compartment

Thankfully, the animal is in good health.
A cat was rescued by Michigan authorities after taking a ride in the engine compartment of a car.
Troy Police said the cat slipped into the a garage and made his way under the hood of a Ford Mustang.
The car’s owner didn’t notice the animal was there until he went for a short drive. The cat was taking a nap inside the compartment.
The driver called a towing company that was able to get the cat out. He only suffered a few minor scrapes from the ordeal and is currently in a shelter.
Police nicknamed the animal Rascal. They are still searching for his owner.
