Deputies Use Doritos to Lure Escaped Pig Back Home
Specifically, It was the Poppin' Jalapeno-flavored Doritos that attracted the pig.
All it took was a bag of Doritos for these San Bernardino County deputies to end their wild pig chase.
Deputies Shelly Ponce and Ashleigh Berg of Highland Station responded to a call Sunday about a pig “the size of a mini horse” on the loose in their neighborhood.
Thanks to tips, they were able to find out where it lived, but still needed to find a way to lure him back home.
That’s when one of the deputies had the bright idea of pulling out a bag of Poppin’ Jalapeno Doritos out of their lunch bag and making a trail of chip crumbs leading the pig back home.
“We were able to put him back in and secure the gate," Deputy Ponce said, according to the Facebook post. “It was fun!”
