If you found thousands of dollars in cash, would you keep it or turn it in?
One good samaritan in Wyoming, Minnesota, chose the latter.
A passerby recently noticed something in a ditch, according to Wyoming Police. When they got closer and realized it was a bunch of money, they gathered it and flagged down a passing officer.
At the same time, police say, the department received a call from a man who had been riding his bike saying bills had fallen out of his pocket.
Authorities say the man had the bank receipts to prove he was the rightful owner of the more than $4,000 in cash.
