Justin Timberlake Halts Show to Help Superfan Announce She's Pregnant
Darcell Baxtresser enlisted the pop star's assistance in letting the world know she's expecting.
Justin Timberlake stopped his concert to make a special announcement in Detroit, Mich., Monday night.
The superstar saw an interesting sign held by fan Darcell Baxtresser at the Little Caesars Arena seeking help announcing her pregnancy.
"I gotta stop the show for a minute," Timberlake told the crowd. "This is very cool. This says, ‘Will you help announce my pregnancy to my family?'"
"It was awesome," she told Inside Edition after the event. "Definitely [it is] gonna be a memory I am going to cherish forever."
Timberlake even gave her baby a nickname, "Baby Bax," and also announced the Nov. 1 due date.
“Tell Papa B I said congratulations too!” Timberlake added.
It was a dream come true for the mom to be, who says Timberlake was her "first love."
“My first love to announce my pregnancy was crazy!!!” she wrote on her Facebook page following the posting of the video. “A truly special memory I will forever cherish!!
