Sparks were flying when a couple got engaged at the gun range.
A New Jersey man wanted to pop the question with a bang and so he chose to do it at a shooting range in Wayne that his friend owns.
“I was planning. Thoughts were running through my head. I wanted to do something totally different and unique, so that came to my head,” Jake Woodruff told InsideEdition.com. “We have family with backgrounds of outdoors hunting and fishing. We always wanted to go to shooting together.”
Woodruff took his then-girlfriend Kara Crampton to Reloaderz NJ, and while she was busy shooting rounds, he had other plans.
He got down on one knee and when Crampton turned around from her target, he was waiting with another target with the words, "Will you marry me?" written on it.
In a video of the moment, Crampton looks totally shocked and full of emotion.
“I had absolutely no idea,” Crampton said. “We've been together awhile but we were still trying to save for a house to buy together. When I turned around I was like, ‘Oh my God, is this really happening?’ It was so much happiness and joy.”
Woodruff added it was a perfect proposal.
