10-Year-Old Sends Thousands of Care Packages to Honor Military and Veterans

Sawyer Henderson, better known as Miss Sawyer, has dedicated her life to honoring veterans and military members ever since her older brother joined the Marine Corp. The 10-year-old spends her free time laying wreaths at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier and visiting military bases. During the holiday season, she fills Christmas stockings with goodies to send to deployed military members. This year, Miss Sawyer plans to send at least 10,000 stockings abroad.
