300 People In Small Michigan Town Help Local Bookstore Move
April 20, 2025
In Michigan, 300 people showed up to help the local independent bookstore move to its new larger location. One by one each book was passed down a line snaking down the street and around the corner through the small town of Chelsea. The human conveyor belt stretched 350 feet. Owner of Serendipity Books Michelle Tuplin tells Inside Edition's Steven Fabian that 9,100 books were moved. She says she never imagined most of the town showing up to help.
