90-Year-Old Great Grandmother Graduates College

At 90 years old, Joyce DeFauw proudly donned a cap and gown at Northern Illinois University’s commencement ceremony, more than 70 years after she left college to start a family. Over that time, her family has grown to include 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren, many of whom were there to witness this achievement. Joyce mentioned to her family in 2019 that she regretted not getting her degree and they encouraged her to go back to school. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
