96-Year-Old WWII Veteran Earns College Degree

It was a dream that took almost a century to realize, but a Sicilian man finally earned a college degree. Guiseppe Paterno, 96, became Italy’s oldest student and for three years took classes and studied just like every other student. Unlike his classmates, Paterno served in World War II. When he left the Navy in his 20s, he took a job as a railway worker, but as he got older he realized his window to go back to school was closing. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
