4-Year-Old Gets Ears Pierced: 1 Earring Ends Up In Her Stomach, The Other Up Her Nose

Little Amiah Hankins got her ears pierced for her fourth birthday. A few weeks later, the little girl swallowed one of the earrings. The other earring was stuck up her nose. A pediatrician did not have the right equipment so mom had to drive Amiah to the hospital. Fortunately the doctor was able to remove the earring in Amiah's nose with special forceps. As for the earring she swallowed, nature took its course and dealt with that one.
