Airline Gate Agent Sings Tribute for Mom of Trooper Killed in Line of Duty
It was a touching tribute to a mother grieving a loss. When Southwest Airlines gate agent Scott Wirt learned that the mom of a slain state trooper was on the plane at his gate, he decided to come on board to honor her in his own way. The passenger’s son, 24-year-old Tyler Edenhofer, was killed in the line of duty just two months after graduating from the police academy. Wirt was recorded singing "You Raise Me Up" for the special passenger sitting in the front row of the plane.
