    Airlines Named New Villain in Reclining Battle for Putting Seats Close Together

    A new twist in the war of the reclining airline seats, as many people are now directing their anger at the airline industry. “I don’t think there should be a debate over reclining or not. The problem here is that airlines treat us like sardines,” reads one tweet. The space between rows used to be about 35 inches, but in recent years it's shrunk to 30 inches on certain planes. The CEO of Delta Airlines weighed in, saying passengers should ask the person behind them if it’s alright to recline.
