Alleged Squatter ‘Takes Over’ Ritzy Summer Rental in New York’s Hamptons

After a stressful year getting through the pandemic, Genya Markon was looking forward to spending time at her family's summer home located in the ritzy Hamptons area of New York. But Markon says she's been locked out by her own tenant, who she says is refusing to leave. New York State has banned evictions until August 31 due to COVID-19. The tenant has reportedly said that she cannot find another place to live.
