Are Some Spring Breakers Actually Avoiding Miami?

Apparently, spring breakers are getting the message that Miami Beach is breaking up with them. This year, there’s a massive police presence but very few spring breakers. The early beach closures, DUI checkpoints and bag searches are also putting a further damper on what is a “rite of passage” for college kids.
